love, love, love

LOVE! You hear the word every single day and if you don't hear it you most likely seen it, but what does it really mean? If you asked a book worm, he/she is more likely to say that it's an intense affection towards someone. If you ask a five years-old, she/he would say that you really like someone or thing- like how he/she loves pizza. If you ask a super religous person, he/she would say that it's God. So, why can't I tell the world what I think about love?
To tell you the truth, it's cliche! I am not saying that I am anti-love, and I don't beleive in it. I am just saying that its lost its meaning. The reason why I beleiive that its lost its meaning is because it over used! Not only is the word losing it's meaning and being over used, it's being used incorrectly. People say that they love cake but what they should be saying was that they like the taste, texture, and smell. When they say that that they love spending time with someone, they sould really be saying that they enjoyed spending time with them. The next time you are about to use the word love, think if you are using the word right and change it to like if you think that it doesn't fit you idea of love. (And, yes, I do make the mistake of using love incorrectly sometimes.)
