Poetry Out Loud is an amazing way to express yourself through various poems. TrekNorth FOL/ COMP students were required to memorize one poem and recite it out loud to the class, resulting in six students progressing to the school-wide competition. Two students were then chosen to accelerate to Regionals, where people from the surrounding area would also compete. Kaija Roy and Rowan Johnson competed at the region competition this past Saturday (Feb. 19) in Fosston, MN. They competed against four other students for a spot at the state competition and took the top two spots! They will be competing March 19 at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul. Wish them luck!
