TN Ski Season Recap 2012

The ski season has come and gone. The girls’ varsity team won the TrekNorth hosted race on January 31, with Hannah Marty in 3^rd place, Maddy Hawkins in 5^th, and others close behind!  The varsity girls weren’t the only ones who learned a lot, however.  New skiers bravely wobbled their first skiing steps, and some their last on the TrekNorth team, all with the help of our ski coaches Dan, Cyri, Katie, and of course, Chuck.  Lack of snow meant that Will Hawkins and Sarah Hamrin had to learn to skate ski during their first race in December.  All that persistence during the snowless days paid off when the snow finally came.  See you next year on the TrekNorth cross country ski team!    - LF
